Culinary of Sukabumi
  Sukabumi is a small city with a million story is one of  the city in the southern of west java it has became one of the destinations of culinary lovers to visit.There are so many culinary delights in this small city but from various kind of foods in sukabumi,there are several most special foods which most people loved,so do I :D there are mochi, Bandros atta and Rengginang Jampang. I ever had taste those foods it was so delicious and I’ll give you some information of those foods,here it is...
MOCHI
   Mochi is a food that comes from Tiongkok,actually mochi has made of two types,namely mochi without flavor or we called it Kiathong and Mochi which contains with green beans inside.As time goes by people start to innovate by adding several variants of taste such as, green tea,durian,,chocolate,cheese,peanut,wijen,oatmeal,oreo,strawberry,etc. As for the stages of making mochi is like :
  For Ingredients of mochi leather between:
30 gr of rice flour
150 gr of Glutinous rice flour
250 ml of water
60 gr of sugar
¼ teaspoon of iodized salt
½ teaspoon of vanili
Sufficient of food coloring
1 tablespoon of betel lime water
100 gr Cornstarch for the outer layer,roast over low heat
Second, Mochi content ingredients :
100 gr of jam that according to the taste needed
3 tablespoon of refined sugar
1 tablespoon sweetened condensed milk
  How to make mochi :
Prepare a container an add some ingredients such as, rice flour, Glutinous rice flour,sugar,salt,vanili,food coloring, and betel lime water stir until evenly distributed.
Then pour into a container filled with water, little by little while stirring slowly.
Add food coloring,vanili and mix well
Take it and filter then pour in the space provided
Steam for 35 minutes or until completely cooked
You can immediately lift it up and stir a using a wooden spoon
Prepare plastic and then sprinkle cornstarch on the plastic,take a little batter,pipihkan
Mix the ingredients and add the mixture until it is evenly taken,take a little mixture of the dough,then store it on top of the dough,wrap the leather or cover the mixture with the dough,then shape the mixture. Do the same steps until the batter runs out.
This moci is very famous And for the price don’t need to worry,it start from 50.000 to hundreds of the thousands of rupiah.This cake is very suitable to be used as souvenirs and eaten with family,friends.
BANDROS ATTA
This Bandros is not sold in the shop as other bandros sellers but only sold in the sidewalk area in front of the shop even though this bandros is legendary and liked by many people and the menu also various kinds,such as chocolate,strawberry, and cheese.Besides that here also sells a few drinks as a complement to snacks,there are orange juice,milk,stmj,coffee,and tea.As for the ingriedients for making bandros namely :
140 gr of Rice Flour
10 gr of Tapioka Flour
½ teaspoon of salt
250 gr of half of coconut (grated coconut)
400 ml of coconut milk
2 teaspoon of coking oil for tropical mold
How to make Bandros :
Heat the coconut milk over the heat of the stove until it is lukewarm.Lift it aside.
Mix rice flour,tapioka flour,stirwell. Add coconut milk gradually into the flour mixture,stir add salt,then the rest of the coconut milk,stir well.
Heat the mold of bandros,spread with a little cooking oil,pour the mixture into the mold.Let until the top dries out.Close the mold.
Bake with low heat until cooked and the edges of the cookies,Take from the mold and serve.
Note : Before use the mold can be preheated about 30 minutes.Durimg the heat add a small amount of greated coconut,so that the bandros can be easly removed.
And to buy bandros atta does not require much money because the price is very affordable, 8000 rupiahs for a variety of flavour and 10.000 rupiahs specifically for cheese variant.Bandros atta start open at 7.30 pm until 6.00 am everyday and for you guys culinary lovers if you visit in this city you should not miss this legendary food.
RENGGINANG JAMPANG
Who’s don’t know this famous snack from jampang? Besides suitable on the tounge of a local person turns out that this food is also in demand by foreign residents.Currently Rengginang has five flavors there are:Sweet,shrimp paste,chicken onion,black sticky rice and spicy.There are some ingredients for making rengginang such as, :
500 gr of glutinous rice
5 cloves of garlic (reduced,if you don’t like it.
Salt to taste,For those who like savory can add flavoring
How to make Rengginang :
Wash the white sticky rice and soak overnight
Then wash and steam for 15 minutes
Mash the garlic,salt,shrimp paste,put in boiling water
Remove and transfer to a plastic container
Flush with seasoning water that is still boiling,wait for about ten minutes
Steam again during 20 minutes
Prepare a tray,because printing must be while hot so take just by a little
After finishing dry in the sun
Fry in a lot of oil and heat
You can find rengginang anywhere in jampang with prices that are certainly affordable from 10.000 per pack to 30,000 per pack.
