Hi foodies, trough this blog article I would like to invite you to get to know more about typical food in my little town. Sukabumi, has a various kind of Culinary, some food quite popular even heard by the other district. One of those became a Local wisdom and special gift by Sukabumi. Nowadays a lot of market shop provide some if it. Let’s say Mochi, Bandros and Rengginang, a famous market shop which provide is Mochi Lampion, Kaswari, and Bandros Atta. Let me Introduce more about this.
Juicy and soft, many people likes this snack not only in Sukabumi but for some district knows it as a good food. It's because Mochi was made by glutinous rice flour, sugar butter, tapioca flour and peanuts, as for your information Mochi at first only eat of chinese on 1960 before it became popular. and it usually sells in basket form, every basket containing 5 or 7 Mochi with selling price about 25-35 thousand rupiahs each box. apparently as time goes by, Mochi has more variant content started from Ginger, Mocca, Durian etc.
A traditional cake only in West Java also In Sukabumi, Most of people serve this food about noon till’ evening while warm with hot tea or a cup of coffee. It's very enjoyable, isn’t it?
Bandros became a delicious cake, the form similar with cookie cake, this food never get bored for some people to eat more it made from rice flour, sugar, cheese, coconut milk, egg and pandanus processed all together. Bandros usually pour sugar over it, but nowadays, Bandros containing chocolate, green tea cheese depends of taste.
