Tourism (Pariwisata) is a trip made for recreation or vacation, The word tourism comes from the Sanskrit "pari" (many times) and "tourism" (traveling).  Literally, tourism means "repeated trips to a place.According to Law No.10/2009 on Tourism, what is meant by tourism is a variety of tourism activities supported by various facilities and services provided by the community, entrepreneurs, the Government and Regional Government. Previously I mentioned the culinary in Sukabumi and this time I will discuss again about Sukabumi more precisely about the differences in tourism places in the City of Sukabumi and Sukabumi Regency,  As it is known that the tourism sector in Indonesia still occupies a very important role in supporting national development as well as being one of the most strategic factors for increasing people's income and the country's foreign exchange and of course Tourism is an inseparable part of human life, especially concerning social and economic activities,  as we know every place has a characteristic that the place has I explained the difference is not because want to compare the results that will instead favor one place, of course not.The uniqueness of this city and regency If we are careful in the field of tourism in particular they will complement each other.There are several types of tourism that you can visit including cultural tourism, recreational tourism, resort city, nature tourism, agro tourism.Although there are some differences between city and sukabumi district tourism, both of them complement each other.  Let us discuss further...

As we know that Sukabumi City has an area of ​​48 KM even though the natural resources here are limited but that does not mean there is no place that can be used as a tourist attraction,In addition to only having a few natural attractions, the City of Sukabumi currently focuses on the creative economy, where the creative economy can be a key driver in the tourism sector.

Different from Sukabumi Regency which has a wider area and even very wide with unquestioned landscapes, this district has a natural attraction that hits and is present that can solve the eyes of anyone who sees it.

In the city of Sukabumi itself we can know the cultural tourism that is available here they are:Ki Pahare museum,C.A.T.R.I.K palagan,Pegadaian museum,Gedung Juang '45,historic buildings such as cultural heritage (the house of former prisoner Bung Hatta and Syahrir), the historical museum of Prabu Siliwangi,Lisung Uyut village, and for Recreation tourism If you want to come you can come to Rumah Fantasi, Alun-Alun digital and Lapang Merdeka Sukabumi city we usually called this place "Lapdek" and nature tourism, it has a hot spring pool in Cikundul,and As for the agro-tourism area located in KAC (Kawasan Agroedowisata Cikundul).In addition, because it cannot rely solely on limited natural resources, the government has made other alternatives.What is that? Yup! That is creative economy.Creative economy is an economic activity that makes creativity as the main capital in creating economic added value,as you know there is a creative economy which is divided into 16 sectors but currently in Sukabumi culinary and photography which dominate it.Because to advance the city especially the tourism sector, the government finally maximized it with a creative exonomy.The city government is now very concerned with the many creative economic actors, especially the millennials providing assistance programs and holding activities to promote the work of sukabumi city residents.

Sukabumi Regency, the southern most region of West Java has a capable marine tourism potential, you can enjoy nature tourism as much as you can because a lot of nature tourism is served by this regency.Sukabumi regency has the Ciletuh Geopark which has been recognized by UNESCO, Panenjoan, Buniayu cave, Suspensions Bridge, and the beach with the waves that are of interest to tourists.There are beaches with sloping waves, there are also large waves so that it becomes the target of surfers (surfer).There are several beaches that are already very well known even to foreign countries like: Pelabuhan Ratu, Ujung Genteng, Cimaja, Pangumbahan,etc.It has some waterfalls too like: Cikaso, Cimarinjung, Panganten, Sentral, Awang, Cibeureum, Kembar and many more. With such an abundance of natural resources they only have to increase their human resources a little and for Agro-tourism in Sukabumi Regency is located at Pesantren yatim Nyalindung Balitri Parungkuda.

The efforts of the city government that will target an increase in tourist visits by organizing tourism events on a national and international scale. The effort has been initiated by the current mayor (achmad fahmi) by visiting the tourism ministry and conveying his wishes and the tourism ministry has enthusiastically welcomed this.  Future follow-up will be carried out in the field, one of which is by holding a mat and sukabumi city fest, hoping that the event will become a national event and will be attended by officials of the Ministry of Tourism.

Meanwhile, the Sukabumi Regency Government continues to develop a number of potential new tourism objects in fixing the natural wealth to be made into the world of tourism by developing the potential of new hidden attractions that can attract even more tourists. New tourist attractions must also be supported by the entire community  and Sukabumi Regency Government seeks to make breakthroughs and assistance to citizens so that they can be independent in managing the potential of tourism objects in their surroundings. They also take a community-based tourism approach by empowering those involving local residents as important actors in the development of sustainable tourism world. Head of the Tourism Office of Sukabumi Regency  (Usman Jaelani) said: "the government's effort in developing tourism objects was one of them doing tourism village tourism activities to socialize and promote tourism in the area". With the vigorous promotion of tourist attraction  ta combined with three natural diversity such as biological geology and culture, tourists both national and foreign will be attracted to come.

I hope that tourists coming to Sukabumi will not just pass through but become a final destination of their tour.  Until now Sukabumi has become a tourist reference for people outside the city.  From Jakarta, Bogor and other districts / cities, in fact for tourism itself Sukabumi already has good natural resources and human resources only if Sukabumi tourism is well managed and professional, maybe tourism this time may involve the community by inviting investors for example.  Sukabumi must learn from other regions that already use community-based tourism patterns. Surely all parties must work together with the government, community and other elements.
