(FINALTEST) Expressing Your Opinion Essay || Driver online murders by Putri Libria

The stabbing of a driver online motorcycle or we usually called (ojol) this incident happened a few days ago and the victim is Taufik Hidayat 49 years old, who was found dead on Jalan Raya Sukabumi-Bogor, Cibolang Village, Cibatu Village, Cisaat District, Sukabumi, West Java. The incident occurred at night on January 5th 2020. When he was checking his cellphone suddenly an unknown person attacked him. The driver had put up a fight but the suspect pulled out a pocketknife and stabbed him to his chest and finally he was covered in blood then the perpetrators fled towards Cibadak. The victim was taken to the betha medika hospital not far from the crime scene but unfortunately he could not be helped then he was died while still on the way to the hospital. Next day his body was taken to RSUD R.Syamsudin S.H. Hospital for an autopsy and finally found a wound that caused him to die from too much bleeding due to the stabbing done by the suspect and it was a deep wound from his chest to penetrate into his stomach. On January 7th 2020 DN was caught by the police after that we all knows that he turns out that the perpetrator was a recidivist who last December was just released from prison and his friend was a fugitive. Of course this incident caused unrest for the community  me and my friends also feel unsafe if returning home late after finishing activities.

When he was about to be arrested, the perpetrators had a chance to fight until finally the officer gave a firm and measured action on his right foot.  Based on data from the police, the perpetrators were recorded as having been involved four times in cases of theft with violence.  In fact, the perpetrators often went in and out of the Nyomplong Sukabumi Penitentiary and had time in the Lapang Subang prison.  Even worse This early January 2020, DN suspects have committed crimes in three locations in the jurisdiction of Sukabumi City Police. I think there must be a punishment for the perpetrators of crimes that make a deterrent and do not commit acts of violence again on others. If left unchecked, this incident will continue. In addition to being given a sentence the perpetrators must also be given religious advice and motivation so that after leaving prison they are aware of their actions.  then for the community not to exclude people who have been imprisoned after being released, embrace them and give them advice and instructions so they are not on the wrong path again.

Then for people who do their activities at night always be careful wherever you are. When you go home late at night Don't travel alone, always keep in touch with people closest to you like family or friends. When you bring a vehicle don't stop in the dark and lonely place, don't be careless, don't wear something flashy which will later inviting crimes such as using cell phones, using jewelry or carrying lots of money. Actually the crime occurred because of an opportunity.  So wherever you are always be careful.

Murder is an action to take a person's life in a way that violates the law, or does not violate the law. Then how to make terrible things like murder not repeated? By way of upholding justice between people, respecting human rights, upholding the equality of human beings, giving punishment to murderers for not doing the same thing, inviting and making people aware, especially people around the wider community to want to be closer to God, and participate in positive activities. In my perspective whatever his motives, whatever his intentions, intentional or unintentional, killing someone is a cruel act and is forbidden by any religion. There are actually a lot of factors that can lead to killings, economic factors are the main cause now.  When humans are unable to deal with complicated problems, killing becomes an outlet for disappointment. This is very scary isn't it?.

I heard that after that incident in each of the Polsek there was a police officer in charge of monitoring and patrolling in crime-prone areas and the police formed a special team to deal with street crime. In my opinion to further enhance the sense of security and comfort and conduciveness to the people of Sukabumi, security forces such as the police must conduct night patrols, and not only in places prone to crime but also in other quiet places,with the minimum support from police supervision at least the people who move at night feel safe. Due to the fact that crime always occurs anywhere, anytime, and to anyone not seeing the place is prone or not prone as long as there is an opportunity like the case above. I hope something like this doesn't happen again.
