“TRADITIONAL MARKET IN SUKABUMI”

The market is one of the centers of buying and selling between traders and also buyers, where all people who need something to use as materials, needs, bussines and etc. but what if The Market in one of the cities West Java does not have a specified hygiene standard. most markets especially The Traditional one seems looked quite dirty, wet, uncomfortable and even sometimes sting. The Traditional Market is far from comfortable for trade, consumers and trades themselves. now, we need to changes the perceptions about Traditional Markets must have to changed better for the common of people, The trades and all of us. Therefore more than few market points in Sukabumi always expirience problems from the negative and positive sides.

Traditional Market in Sukabumi

The City Government of Sukabumi plans to rebuild two traditional markets in 2019. The step is taken so that the exsitence of traditional markets would be better and compete with modern market. according to my opinion, due in some regions have started to implement the steps, so I agree for this one Government Program. Basically our route of Public Transportation at every market point in Sukabumi will greatly disrupt the nets of community activities, such as traffic jams, difficult to get out of the market, plus train lines that each pass must be closed with bars and subsequently always cause servere congestion for bikers, especially at the Pasundan Traditional market point.

Pelita Market burned on 24 September 2015

Even the Incident about the Market in Sukabumi where is in Pelita Market burned on 24 September 2015, trade and industry of the sukabumi City stalls that burned were 45 units. the details are 16 up to 37 units of active traders. while the estimated loss of around IDR 1.6 billion came from the burning traders building of IDR 225 million and merchandise also reach IDR 1.4 billion we’re all hope that such an incident will not happen anymore the traders or buyers must be more careful again. but now it seems that the Government has begun to improve the Pelita Market.

According to Data from the Sukabumi City Coorperative, Small and Medium Enterprises, Trade and Industry Office (Diskop UKM-PP) states that the two markets to be rebuilt are the Lembursitu Market and the Sukabumi City Gudang Market. Previously in early 2019, two traditional markets were successfully built and inaugurated, namely Dewi Sartika Market and Culinary Center, which was previously known as Geledog Market and Degung Market, Sukabumi City.
The construction of the two markets to increase safety and cleanliness while providing comfort to buyers and traders” said Mayor of Sukabumi, Achmad Fahmi, told reporters Friday(8/2).

Head of Sukabumi City SME-PP Diskop, Mr. Ayep Supriatna said the Lembursitu Market And Gudang Market were planned to be rebuilt in well preparation clean concept and not slum. “The establishment of both markets in order to provide and increased” according the factual information from the newspaper which I read couple days ago, The budget for the development costs of the two markets is estimated reach IDR 25 billion. The details for the Lembursitu Market are estimated reach IDR 10 billion  and Gudang Market from IDR 10 billion to IDR 15 billion, very fantastic expenditure hopefully implemented and launched.

I hope that the entire market in Sukabumi, especially those whose buildings are already inadequate and slums, will be rebuilt gradually. This effort was carried out so that the entire market in Sukabumi would be better, safe, comfortable and healthy, even as well as supermarket in every Department Store. with result that we as a buyers, traders, and sellers can be more flexible to make transactions easily, safely and comfortably.
