Final Short Story by Dian Apriansyah || Magic Academy
MAGIC ACADEMY
CHAPTER 1
“Prologue”
"Are you willing?" asked the blond woman who sitting on a single sofa while holding a cup a glass of green tea.
"Are you kidding, Ellena?"
"No. The Board has decided. You must being there."
"Huh, it's up to you. Fight me anyway lose! he said, snapping his fingers then passing a large door that opened by itself. The woman named Ellena smiled sweetly while enjoying green tea on a sunny morning. His eyes glanced out the window, only the expanse visible cloud.
"How long have I been in this place?" Ellena asked then to himself
"It's boring too. I hope you feel right there, ... Oh, not anymore. I hope you feel right there, Violin."
Outside, the girl named Violin grunted in the heart. Upset about the task given. Moreover, he never left the Ellena residence. The woman who helped him for ten years ago from the pursuit of an evil witch, when she was six years old Her long silver hair fluttered in the wind. He was riding a silver scaly dragon to relieve stress. Oh, Violin is so nervous! He will enter the Witch Academy. The blond girl had never beenset foot in school before. What will he do it later?
****
"Let me introduce, my na-name, Violin," he was nervous while squeezing his fingers.Pale Violin. All eyes were on him. Their eyes seemed to underestimate.
"I heard ... you didn't take the entrance exam academy, really? "asked a haired girl blonde. Her name is Amora.
"Also, you have never been enrolled in the academy anywhere!
"Another girl's voice continued. Wow, is that how fast a rumor about him spread? Extraordinary! Violin is trembling more and more.
"I've never been to school before" honestly Violin.
"But, to get in here because recommended.
" Amora frowned. Who is he really? Child nobleman?
"Already! The introduction is quite up to here. Violin, you can sit there.
"Point to Miss Ketti on an empty bench located in the section back Violin walked afraid to look down, as if she were counting sparkling ceramic city boxes. He is not accustomed to foreign places. The place so many people.
"hi, introduce my name is Re. Greetings" His smile warmly welcomed Violin. Violin smiled while nodding.
"They are very suitable!" whispered in the front, girl who stuck in Violin earlier.
****
School hours are over. Time for students back to the hostel. Likewise with the Violin feeling bored in his class, he didn't understand what taught by Miss Ketti. Extended lessons Violin just yawned. Luckily the first day, if he is still lazy. He will get hit reprimand is more than just a greeting. "A-Amora, give it back!" the girl shouted about 150 cm high. Body size pretty short for a girl who is six twelve years. "Come on, take it!" They are playing with their classmates. "Ah, what a pity!" The girl named Amora flying Re's bag."You don't fool around listening to magic!"
Amora and her other friends turned to the source sound
"It's none of your business, new boy! You don't come along mix!" said his friend.
"In that case" the three of them smiled mischievously, then cast a spell that can flying Violin easily like a bag belongs to Re.
"How? Still want to be a hero?" Amora said Violin can't fight. Resignation receives treatment ignorant of them. Re is paler looking friend Amora and her friends are working on it Heck! Is this how they are used by magic? Become game material? How about them go to an ordinary place? Filled with people who don't have magic ability? "What are you doing? Put down your friends right now! "the command of Miss Ketti just now come. “He is not my friend!” Amora whispered to herself. Then forced to bring down the blond girl roughly. Violin groans pain in the buttocks. Land in a manner not beautiful. God damn it "This time you are safe!" Amora left after that."V-Violin, are you alright?" Re approaching. Help Violin to stand up.
"Yes, I'm Good." Violin turned to look at an adult womanin front of it.
"Miss Ketti, thank you forhis help."
"Don't wait too hard on them, you understand?" Violin forehead winced. Serve? Who is it they must be served. "We-we understand, Miss."Miss Ketti left after that, while Re tidy up the contents of his bag that is scattered on the floor corridor, assisted by Violin.
"Who are they?" "They are noble children. It would be problematic if face to face with them. "
"They are too arrogant!" said Violin put the last book in the Re bag.
"I'm used to being treated like that. never mind, let's go back to the dorm" invite Re.
"I'm new here, can you accompany me get around? "
"OK. with pleasure." Re smiled. Finally he can also get friends.
To be in class 1-A makes it difficult to socialize with them. The class contained noble children and descendants of high level magicians. You're just lucky to be in this class. Basic garbage offspring! The words Amora once said to Re.
"Beautiful." Re turned sideways, looking at people walking beside him, he was staring at two trees large standing side by side.
"What is that?" Violin asked, stopping right in front of the two big trees.
"the door to the human world." Violin's eyes were sparkling, now fade away.
"To the city?" Re nodded. A little confused interpret Violin's gaze.
"Come back to the hostel." Now Violin is not excited touring his new school.
****
Witch Academy. This place was once formed to gather people who aremagic ability to eradicate witches black group. it's been hundreds of years this building stand. Over time, the higher ups decided to put this building in the clouds awang. In the sky. Even though the black wizard has been destroyed ten last year. Not that the high-ranking councilors even though the black witch had been destroyed ten last year. Not that the high-ranking Council will let your guard down. The Witch Academy will continue to exist, giving birth to future generations who can maintain the balance of the earth.
CHAPTER II
“The Last Descendants”
"A growing taste will ... will-"
"You suck!" Violin snorted turned towards the girl who had just said it was lame. His eyes narrowed sharply.
"A simple life spell you can't do? I wonder, how can your fools be recommended at this academy?"
Violin's jaw has hardened. His ears turned red. Because it's hot hearing the spicy word that comes out of Amora's mouth. Admittedly, he had never studied like this before. Moreover, memorizing so many spells.
"Vi-violin, let them be," Re whispered in reminder.
"I don't like the group." Violin sucked. Then stared in surprise at Re's surviving plant. The leaves turn green again.
The trunk is perpendicular.Initially Miss Ketti cast a spell on the plant with a death spell. As today's lesson, Miss Ketti assigns students to return the plants as they used to.
"I'm really bad!" Violin squatted while playing her index finger on the ground.
"Heee! Vi-Violin, don't give up like that. Y-You can do it!" Re continues to encourageViolin.
"Can you return it? Poor him." Point Violin to the plant that is almost blackened.
Re raised his hands and then turned to the plant and said,
"The growing taste will live. With a ray of hope ... come back!" When casting a spell, Re is so smooth. Not faltered in the slightest. Different if he is talking.
Violin pouted her lips. The children in their class are smart. He felt cornered. Feel far behind. It was, he wanted to bang his head on the ground.
Hey, Vio! Your purpose here isn't for that! Violin canteen reminded herself.
"Today is enough. Everyone return to class!" Miss Ketti's command then turned to Violin.
"Train harder." Violin nodded weakly considering that she was not a pure wizard. He is an ordinary human child who Ellena saved ten years ago. Then take him to the city of Ellenus. The island that Ellena created. An island that only contains experimental animals that were carried out by black magicians first.
Same goes with the Witch Academy. Ellenus Island is floating in the air. Out of reach of humans and other magicians. The transparent yellow circle in Ellenus City has the same function as this academy. Maintain air and light stability within the academy, and also as a surge protector or surgeon, if there is an enemy attack from outside.
***
Ellena moved from her seat - walked to the large mirror in her room.
"Time to go," he said touching the mirror. Half of his hand has entered the mirror. Then his body seemed to be sucked into that thing.
"You're late Ellena!" exclaimed a long-haired man who welcomed the blonde woman. He crossed his arms in front of his chest.
"You never change, Ion. You're always waiting for me at the entrance" Ellena narrowed her eyes. Ion is the man Ellena once loved. But that feeling ran aground after the man decided to become the right hand of a high-ranking magician and live in an upper world of high-ranking officials, as well as nobles.
The world above, the term for people who play an important role to maintain the balance of this world.
"Hmmm, apparently everyone has gathered," Ellena murmured sitting in her chair. Likewise, Ion also stepped into his chair.
The meeting had begun about fifteen minutes ago, as usual, Ellena did not care about other responses to her tardiness.
"You're always interrupting the meeting!" complained one of the women who was already there. Namaya Qui.
"Tsk! Your presence always makes me sick!" Ellena's words made the girl sitting in front of her furious.
"Ka--"
"Can we continue the meeting ?!" Cold tone sounds piercing.
Qui mute did not dare look at the long bearded leader who was white. While Ellena threw a mocking smile at Qui, the girl who had snake-like eyes.
"Watch out, you!" he whispered, strengthening his right fist. If his emotions are not arrested, he could have destroyed the table in front of him. A thick, sturdy table with a long, five-footer length.
****
"I give up!" Violin closed her book which was thirty centimeters thick and then put her head on the library table. "Those damn spells make my head dizzy?"
Re smiled as he patted Violin's shoulder. "Cheer up, Violin."
The silver-haired girl snorted in annoyance as she brushed her hair that touched her cheek backwards.
Ellena, watch out for you! Violin thought while hitting the table slowly. I'm not here to study!
Violin closed her eyes for a moment. Think. Is what Ellena said true? They will come?
"Vi-violin, are you sleeping?"
"No. I hope I can hear you, Re. The spells you memorized make me even more sleepy. My brain rejects all the words in the book."
"S-sorry." Re stopped reading a thick book for mercy.
Violin raised her hand to see her friend. No wonder he could be in a superior class. Class I-A. Yes, even though everyone knew, the short girl was a mixed blood witch. Of all his siblings, only he has witch blood. That is one of the reasons why a witch is forbidden to marry an ordinary person. Because it will destroy the magicians later. The blood of magicians born one to ten, maybe about one percent. It is very unlikely that a person born with witch blood will be born.
"
It is okay. Just continue, "Violin said.
"II want to be strong like Father." Re looked down. Stare deeply into his open book.
I want to be like father. Re repeated the sentence silently. He remembered the battle that had taken place ten years ago, when he was six years old.
Re afraid. His hands trembled remembering the red eyes that looked at him sharply at that time. Men wear black robes and cover their heads with hoods. The red glint of his eyes made Re shiver.
The darkness.
The supreme black magician.
Re never met him.
"Re, why are you?" Violin asked, touching the trembling hand.
"I-I'm fine." Re closed the book quickly. Step out of the library. He remembered the time his father was killed by a man in a black robe. Stabbed with silver kris. Re shouted when the creature was about to approach. Luckily at that time the white witches came to help. Re saved.
"Re! Where are you going?" Violin shouted. Forced the girl to rise, chasing after Re.
****
"So you put that child in? I heard he can't read spells correctly. He doesn't know the basic spells."Ellena yawned while supporting her chin with her right hand. Pretend you didn't hear Qui's words. His mortal enemy.
"Master. Are you sure you can entrust the child to the academy?" Qui still did not accept the recommendation Ellena made to Master Er.
"I believe in Ellena," he answered while stroking his long beard.
"In that case, I would also recommend someone," Qui said.
Ellena's eyes narrowed. From the first rival it did not want to lose in any business. Likewise with the problem of romance. And that's one reason why Ellena can't maintain her love for Ion. Qui always gets in the way, he loves the same guys.
"All right. Two is better than one," said the white bearded man who was still faithfully stroking his beard.
***
Violin did not find the existence of Re. Where is the child? Ah, did I hurt his feelings?
Violin circulated her vision. "There he is." Violin came running, but ...DOOM! Violin balance is wobbly. He almost fell over. DOOM!
Two collisions occurred. The bang was loud. All students in the class came out and looked up to see what was happening above, as well as Violin.
Oh no! The protector is cracked!
Violin's eyes widen. Great !!! Have they started to attack? That fast?
****
Whereas at Ellena's place ...
"This is bad! The academy is being attacked!" Someone broke into the meeting room.
"What?!" The principal who attended the meeting rose from his seat. How about the children? They never fought even once! Is this the end of the wizarding world? Exterminate the last descendants of the magicians ?!
CHAPTER III
“Curse of the Darkness”
Ten years ago...
"Darkness covers, every corner of the earth is opened. The roots of life will die wiping out pure seeds." Death spells have been spoken in ancient languages. Black smoke slowly emerged from the hands of the black-robed man. Going up. Then spread to all corners on earth. Nobody can cancel that spell.
"Aaaak!" shrieked in unison at the place, heard the sound of women who were in pain. In the abdomen.
"Mery!" shouted a man beside the woman. His eyes rounded looking down. Blood. The woman is bleeding fresh.
"sick!" the whimper was holding his protruding belly.
"No! My child!" the man shrieked at seeing the meat that had not yet come out.
Then, the sounds of alternating squeals could be heard throughout the world. In accordance with the direction of the black clouds that are spreading to each direction.
All pregnant women will miscarry at that time. And other fertile women from the group of magicians can not give birth to blood descendants of magicians. If inhaled air mixed with fine material, the spell will automatically activate.
****
"The protector!" Re muttered. Likewise with other students. This is the first attack after a major attack ten years ago. At that time the academy children here were six or five years old.
"Are you OK?" Violin asked, helping Re to stand up.
"dragon?!" Re stuttered. This was the first time he had seen that type of creature. Devil dragon, black scaly.Violin stared at Re.
"Vi-Violin ...," he called. Re's eyes widened. The protective wall is broken. The head of the black dragon had entered the academy.
"Watch out!" Violin looked down. The black fireball almost hit them both. How could it be?
"Hello, Ellena ... Ellena!" Violin tried to contact him. "Damn! Disconnected."
Destroyed! The black dragon broke through its barrier.
"Run!" Violin shouted at Re who sat down below.
Realized. Re immediately got up and moved away from the area that could be said to be so close to the big black creature.
"What should we do?" asked Re who was already running beside Violin. His face was pale.
Violin continued to run while thinking of ways to immobilize the dragon. Maybe it will be a little difficult.
The silver-haired girl turned left, followed by Re. Hiding behind a big tree.
****
"They returned ...," said one of the people in the organization. Then his face was pale, and so were the others. The wounds caused ten years ago are still imprinted. Oh no! Not again.
Ellena looked at her flashing bracelet.
"Hello, Violin?" Disconnected. The circular bracelet in his hand didn't flicker anymore.
"Master Er ...," Ion called. The man was waiting for the master's decision.
Ellena looked up, as well as the members there. You're both staring at Er.
Ellena clenched her hands tightly together. According to him this organization was so slow in dealing with black magicians. Supposedly, the followers of the darkness destroyed everything until it was left. That is the proper punishment for them. Imprisoned? Not. They are wrong, evil will continue to exist if there are still shadows on the face of this earth.
"It looks like the portal to the academy has been closed," said one member who was there, he had already checked it.
"Damn it!" One member hit the table. She's one of the teachers at the witch academy.
Right now, the academy teacher's room is empty. They are here. Following the meeting.
"They want to destroy the next generation," continued other members. Shoulder-length woman with dark green eyes.
All members of the organization were stunned. They remember well that time, when black smoke enveloped the city. And greeted by the screaming of women who are pregnant, as well as other fertile women. War cannot be stopped. Many victims fell from both sides.
"I will be there!" Ellena rose from her seat.
"It will take time," Qui reminded.
Right. It will take more than an hour to the academy because the portal is closed. The magician who did that must be of high level. Ellena thought then. If their goal is to exterminate all the children there, then the generation of magicians will be destroyed. They are the last generation.
"Damn!" the blonde haired woman murmured. He was afraid of something happening with Violin. Because....
****
Now, Violin and Re are hiding behind a big tree.
"A-Amora?"
"What is he stupid doing ?!" murmured Violin who saw Amora, the haughty girl plus her extraordinary arrogant approaching the black creature. The girl cast a spell, making Violin scratching his head hearing it. He hates the spells in the book because the pronunciation is so difficult. Spells in ancient languages.
"Something from the ground comes out. Lock the movement." Magic circle formed from Amora's hand. Then a big chain emerged from the ground. Handcuff the dragon's legs. Amora smiled arrogantly. He succeeded. A bit of pride.
"the movements are locked," commented Re, who was still hiding behind a tree with Violin.
The black dragon is raging. His legs were moved - kicking in the air. Trying to untie the chain that ties all four legs together. Free!
Amora's eyes widened. The magic doesn't work. The black dragon looked at Amora, preparing to launch the fireball. The girl's body stiffened in place.
"Re!" Violin's voice.Re nodded and then cast the spell, "Extend." The root of the tree in front of him came out of the ground - elongated - coiled on Amora's body - brought him away from the dragon.
"Oh no!" Violin said, seeing the fireball headed towards the three of them.
Violin raises hand - leads to the dragon. A magic circle formed from his hand, silver in color with his hair.
"Damn!" Violin murmured as her magic circle slowly disappeared.
"Vi-violin!" Re trembling with sweat brushing his forehead. The fireball is getting closer. Only a few meters left.
Re and Amora spontaneously close their eyes.
TWO!
A huge explosion rang out.
"Are you all right?"
"Amora and Re opened their eyes a little. They almost fainted on the spot and thankfully the
person in front of him protected him with a protective wall.
"Yes, I'm fine," Amora said nervously. His style of speech is like Re, if he is aware of it. Then his face turned red. Kyaaa! Good looking. His mind screamed.
"Tch!" Violin groaned at the figure in front of her.
"Thank you," said Re who was already sitting on the ground.
"You guys hide, let me handle the creature," ordered the blue-eyed guy.
Re and Amora nodded in unison, while Violin frowned - staring down. Sorry, Ellena. It turns out I'm not useful. I'm so bad because I can't protect the people here. Violin looked at her right palm. Is this because I'm an ordinary human, not a witch-type? Violin thought. Sometimes, he can't use magic. His strength just disappeared in this place. Unlike the island of Ellenus. Maybe there Ellena's spell felt strong, so she could use magic as she pleased. Violin thought, remembering the practice of restoring plants yesterday.
"You too, hide!" the boy's command woke Violin out of her reverie. Because Re had been calling him, but was ignored.
"Come on, Violin!" asked Re to pull the silver-haired girl's hand.
Violin according to. It's useless to be there. Cannot help.
CHAPTER IV
“Ellenus Island”
The blond little girl laughed happily while riding on the back of the dragon child. Fly around the blue lake. Soak in between giant trees. The situation here is not normal for the size of the little girl named Violin.
"Come on, Pusss!" he shouted while pointing forward. That's a sign he wants to be even faster. At the age of ten years, very agile, as if the trauma that occurred four years ago disappeared in his mind. When the black wizard appears. Little Violin can't do magic yet, but in terms of conquering and riding a dragon, he's an expert.
"Pus, watch out!" he shrieked seeing a giant tree not far in front of him. The silver scaly dragon turned sharply to the left, but there was another tree branch. With that speed, can it be passed? With a throbbing chest, Violin could only surrender everything to the dragon.
The silver dragon dived sharply downwards. Skipped, however ...
"Aaaaa ....!" The little girl's clothes stuck to the twigs. Fall down. "Pussy!" he shouted with all his might. Her silver hair fluttered, so did her clothes. The dragon child squeaked. Calling Violin. Fly with all your strength so that his best friend does not land on the ground.
Violin's silver eyes were closed. A few meters he will fall. Not! Violin doesn't want to die let alone break a bone. Ellena's healing was very painful.
Rough. However warm. The silver eyes slowly opened. Pus managed to catch it.
"You're the best!" Violin is very proud of her best friend.
Arriving at Ellena's residence. Violin told her experience today with enthusiasm. How he rode a dragon. Around Ellenus, everything is told, except for one. When the incident that almost claimed his life. Fell from a height. The blond-haired woman nodded slightly while listening to the foster child tell a story. And his hands were fiddling with newspaper. It was felt, he was not too interested in the contents of the news in there. Only see images and titles.
"Ellena. Can I be like you?" Ellena closed the newspaper full. Put on the table. Then shaking his head, he knew the meaning of Violin's direction.
"You are a human. A human cannot use magic. I guess you understand."Frowning violin.
"But ..." "There is only one way," Ellena said doubtfully. Actually he didn't want to say it, but seeing the look on the boy's face ...
Violin's eyes sparkle, as if finding new hope. According to him, having magic power is very cool.
"Not." Ellena shook her head. "You don't need to have it. Staying safely here, I think that's enough." The woman stood up. He did not want to discuss the request of foster children.
"Damn you cheap!" he shrieked.
****
Twilight day. Violin sat by the lake while looking blankly ahead. Look down. Staring at the orange water. Squeaking pussy. The dragon child is sensitive to the feelings of Violin who are troubled. Four years ago. He still remembers how his orphanage was destroyed. Hiding from the pursuit of the black robes who came from nowhere. Thank God Ellena arrived on time and beat everyone up. Violin gawks in disbelief. He seemed to be watching a live performance of the film.
"Why did you destroy it instead?" Violin protested seeing the fruit crumble. His feet jerked to the ground.
"Heeeh?" Ellena was confused. "Don't you want to destroy your target?"
"Stupid!" Violin grumbled. Though he only intends to drop the fruit. He was very hungry because he had been practicing all day. Then leave the blonde woman alone. Still in a state of confusion ....
****
"Come on, Violin!" invited Re pulled the silver-haired girl's hand, had been staring blankly at the black dragon in front of her. Still raging.
"Eh?" Violin woke up from her reverie. He remembered the memories on Ellenus Island. How he trained to be as great as Ellena or greater than him. But in reality, he was so bad.
"Come on!" Re pulled violently on Violin's hand.
Violin according to. It's useless to be there. Besides he could not help. Then glared at the boy, Gatra. "we are hiding here."The three of them hid by the side of the building. A little far from the creature. Other academy children have also been evacuated to safe places. Some of them charmed themselves with protective circles. But it was useless, their protector would not work if hit by a black ball attack from the dragon.
A close combat occurs between Gatra and the black dragon. Not easy to knock out. The dragon's scales are very thick. Gatra's attack seemed to be reflected.
"Amazing," commented Ammora, who was amazed at the boy. He saw Gatra who was locking the dragon's movements with a burning red chain. Both rear legs, front, tail and neck.
With a little hand down. The black dragon was kneeling on the ground - still struggling to move the whole body.
A mantra is recited in the ancient language, "Flames of fire scorch the earth. Eliminating vile souls. Burn, O God of Fire!"
Blackish red flames emanated from the ground. Run all over the chains that bind the dragon - burn the dragon's locking place, from; front legs, back, neck and also tail.Deaf! All closed ears. The dragon screamed in pain. The fire cannot be put out.
"High level magic!" Said Re. While the Violin reaction is normal. In fact, he was upset to see it.
****
"Hahahaha ... what do you think?" He stared at the blond woman, Ellena. Because the student is able to defeat the dragon. Whereas Violin?
"Umm!" Ellena was sad.
Ellena and the other wizard council were witnessing a horrendous state of being inside the crystal ball, as a connecting medium. They were only able to see from afar because the portal to the academy was closed from the inside. And, thankfully there were no casualties.
The black dragon turned to dust. The fire burned it until there was nothing left.
"The youth's magic power is undoubtedly," commented one of the councilors. That makes Qui's nostrils wider. Proud.
"Black witch!" said Mis Keti suddenly shuddered. The group is already in the academy.
All eyes widen. Goosebumps in horror watching a group of black robes already in the academy's courtyard.
"How about this?" Mis Keti's hand trembled. What about the students? He was afraid of something happening with them. Because a long time ago, the mission of black magicians was to eradicate the white magicians. Up to its roots. Do you still remember the dark magic spell before it disappeared? During these ten years, the descendants of pure magicians only gave birth to ordinary humans. Pure blood seemed to be erased.
"Master Er!" Ion exclaimed. All eyes turned to the man.
****
"Who are they?" Inquire Amora has come out of hiding. It was planned that he would approach Gatra, but his steps were stopped because a strange man in a black robe suddenly appeared at the spot of the dust of a black dragon, which had now flown in the wind. They numbered five people.
"Black magician," Violin murmured, remembering the same outfit as what had happened ten years ago. Re paled. He also experienced the same period as Violin.
Without warning, they immediately attacked Gatra - he also managed to avoid - and fend off the attack. Lost. Two of them disappeared from view. Like black smoke that disappeared somewhere.
"Vi-Violin ..." Re's voice trembled.
The silver-haired girl looked back with a quick movement. Re movement is locked. The black-robed hand was already in front of Re's neck.
"Stop!" he said stopping Violin who was about to approach.
Damn it Umpat Violin who can't do anything. While Gatra is still busy fighting the three criminals. Then ... the other one?
Re looked back, as if his movements were slowing down ...
"Amora. Behind!" Violin exclaimed.
"I know!" the reply was arrogant. Amora quickly protects herself. The spell that was read succeeded in making the cloaked man bounce. Then the girl smiled proudly.
"Re?" Violin probes left to right. He did not find Re and the cloaked man. Big tree. The man brought Re into the portal. Violin steps quickly. Run.
"Reee!" he called as calmly as he could. Violin followed those who had disappeared inside the big tree. Portal to the underworld, man.
****
"Master Er!" Ion Sound made all eyes on him. Looks like he managed to open a portal that was closed at the academy.
The teachers moved, including Mis Keti, who had been unable to calm himself down earlier. While the other councils discussed this issue, including Ellena who remained.
CHAPTER V
“Rescue Re”
Violin's hands trembled and sweated because she saw the presence of a black robed figure. The image of ten years ago danced in his mind. Afraid of being mixed with grudges, that's what he feels right now.
Violin tears flow from the corner of the right eye. Right now, in front of him seemed to witness black robes killing orphanage children as well as caregivers. Burn down all contents of the orphanage.
Realized. Violin blinks.
"Re?" Violin probes left to right. He did not find Re and the cloaked man. Where are they?
"Reee!" he called out as calmly as he saw the figure dragging his friend to a large tree.
The man in black and Re has disappeared from view. Enter the tree that connects to the underworld. Violin pursued, ran into the portal. The silver-haired girl closed her eyes because she felt a great tremor - her body seemed to be sucked strong.
Fell down.
"Ahh!" sighed Violin as it emerged from the connecting tree. He looked back, saw the tree - the size was not very big, about 100 cm in diameter. Then his eyes probed around. Same. Only the tree is visible. At first he thought he would land directly in the city, apparently not.
The silver-haired girl stood without cleaning her dirty skirt - looked around for Re. Violin gave a loud cry and called Re repeatedly. But there was no reply.
Confused. Violin was confused about where to go. His head looked up. Sunlight is obstructed by tree leaves. The further step inside, the more dark and foggy the forest feels.
****
At the academy.
Gatra is surrounded by three people in black robes. Gatra's position seems to be at the midpoint of the triangle.
Gawat! he thought.
He knows the pose. That's true Slowly the three figures cast a spell. A triangle-shaped line surrounds Gatra. His body could not be moved. This is called the offering method for dark beings. Exchange souls to summon ghosts. A lost soul. Have you heard of an empire that was attacked and destroyed overnight? That is not a fairy tale.
This Ghost Summoner is a high level magic in a group of black magicians. Sometimes they sacrifice parts of their body to exchange resurrection.
"Aaaakh!"
The tip of Gatra's tail glanced at the girl named Amora, grimacing in pain while clutching her chest. Just now he was thrown by a black magic spell. Gatra could not do anything, her body was difficult to move.
"Ah!" Amora was surprised. Suddenly his body floated in the air. Then his neck felt like something was suffocating - the girl's legs were kicking in the air while touching her neck. His jugular veins and his forehead were exposed. He was out of breath with his eyeballs almost white. BOOM!
The black-robed figure that attacked Amora bounced. He got a surprise attack. Help coming!
"Umm Hmm!" Amora coughed after her body landed on the ground.
"Amora!"
"Miss Keti?" The girl's eyes sparkled. He had thought he would be here. "I'm fine. Help him," Amora said, looking away to the left - looking at the besieged Gatra. Half his body had frozen to stone.
Mis Keti looked at Amora's eyes, then was a little surprised, she murmured, "No way!" Miss Keti knew very well the pose and the spell. He had seen it once. Miss Keti shook her head. How could they do it so openly? Is this bluffing or telling the world of the revival of black magicians?
On the other hand, Gatra breathes freely because help has arrived. Besides he could not beat at the same time protecting the academy students in this bound condition. A few seconds later he smiled at the figure in front of him.
"Don't underestimate me," he said, making the three black-robed figures surprised. Not! How could Gatra cancel the offering spell?
"You ... black witch?" said one of them in surprise.
****
"Re!" Violin called while running erratically. He had been trying to find Re's whereabouts using magic. But nothing. His magic was completely gone when he was here. "Bad!"
"Violin!" Re's voice rang out. But where? All directions sound the same. Violin looked in all directions which made her dizzy to go.
"Concentrate. You can, Vio!" he muttered to himself while squatting. His right hand touched the root of a tree - Violin closed her eyes. Blank. Only darkness is seen. The sweat on his forehead then flows slowly. He mobilized all abilities. A few minutes later Violin saw the picture. The roots of the tree are interconnected showing the existence of Re.
"There!" he exclaimed. Then get up - run to the left.
Violin looked up. Finally he found his friend's whereabouts.
"Re!" Violin called to see his friend's body wrapped around the root and hung in a tree. Re is unconscious.
Gawat!
Violin's eyes flickered at the round black light that had just been thrown at her. Reflexively, the silver-haired girl dodged to the right. Again. The black-robed jerk threw an attack, this time using both hands. A burst of explosions could be heard, making the ground on Violin perforated.
"Ouh, damn it!" scold Violin when her feet trip over tree roots. He fell down - his eyes widened when the black-robed man was now standing in front of him. The man's eyes glowed red, then smiled sideways.
"Weak people like you want to save him?" said the man while grabbing Violin's neck with his left hand, then lifted and pressed Violin's body to the trunk of a large tree behind him.
"Aaakh!" Violin was in pain because her neck was gripped tightly. He tried to let go of his hand by striking it with all his strength.
At this rate ... this jerk can break my neck! Violin thought, trying to escape. Focus ... I have to focus! Violin stopped hitting the man's hand. Not resigned, but the silver-haired girl actually grabbed the man's wrist while closing his eyes.
"Aaaa ... Damn it!" shrieked the black-robed man as he released his grip from the neck of the violin - the girl landed roughly on the ground - coughing holding her neck.
"God damn it!" the man cried, seeing his left wrist blister. Before the healing spell is cast ...
"I am indeed weak, but ... I will not let you hurt my friends and academy students!" Violin exclaimed, raising her right hand. His anger was unstoppable. The magic-circle was formed, a second later the enemy bounced before he could reflect the magic of Violin.
The silver-haired girl spread both hands - slowly the roots came out of the ground, spreading around the man's legs to the body and both hands, but ...
"Ah, damn it!" Violin muttered as she saw the wisps of black smoke then blinked. The black magician had run away before his body was bound intact. "Next time, I will destroy you!" Violin clenched her fist strong.

Ellena leaned her back on the chair. He is still at the meeting place.
Some of the remaining people were still talking about the appearance of black magicians, moreover they performed the forbidden magic openly in the academy.
"I am back!" Ellena rose from her chair, then watched them one by one. Because among them there might be traitors. How could the portal to the academy be closed just like that.
"You don't thank my protege, Ellena?" The blond-haired woman snorted at Qui's question - looked briefly, then walked towards the portal. As expected, black magicians would awaken the darkness - their creator.
CHAPTER VI
“Rise Up Black Magic”
Assault at the Academy made all the excitement. News spread quickly among the magicians throughout the city. It turned out that Nus prison was conceded two days ago. Some criminals managed to escape. This news is still kept confidential. Only how many councils and dignitaries know about this.
"Miss Ellena?" A police officer was surprised by the appearance of a blond woman. Heading to this place is not easy because it is located in the middle of the ocean, covered in thick fog, also far from the mouth of the cave. The island is also protected by magic spells, such as fog which envelop the island.
"How could this happen?" Ellena took her hand out of her furry coat - touched the former hole that prisoners might use to escape from this prison.
Is she safe? Ellena thought that only that person could do this. Impossible! I killed him with my own hands.
"Give the data of the person who escaped!"
"Yes, ma'am."

"Re, are you okay?" Violin asked after lowering and removing the roots from Re's body.
Re nodded weakly. Trying to stand up, assisted by Violin. It's time to go back to the academy.
"I forgot where the connecting tree is." Grin Violin saw the trees here the same shape. "Can you walk?" Violin asked, seeing Re's bruised knee.
"Yes, of course." Re's smile tried to be strong and put his hands on the tree trunk beside him.
"All the trees here can be connected to the Academy." Re explained.
With spells we can connect with the Academy, but before that, we have to copy-paste DNA into the connecting tree (inserting a part of someone's body into the tree).
"Oh, so that's why Miss Ketti took my hair and put it in the bark of a tree?" Violin nodded as if she fully understood Re's explanation.
The tree before them began to glow, then sucked the two girls' bodies into the tree. Before leaving, Violin did not look back in the slightest. There was nothing he missed in the underworld. In his heart, he didn't want to live there anymore.
"The teachers have returned," Violin murmured when she saw the academy protector being repaired. The hole made by the black dragon is quite large. It will take a long time to fix, maybe around 3 or about 5 hours.
"You are all right," asked Miss Ketti who had just come down from her broom, approaching Re.
"Yes, Miss. We are fine," they answered in unison.
"Thank you for bringing my student back." Miss Ketti patted Violin's shoulder slowly - Re turned to face the smiling Violin. Miss Ketti's words just now made her think, but were ignored.
"Come on, I'll help you treat your knee."
"But ... I'm fine." Violin continued to drag Re into the academy, heading to the health room.
"Although magic does sound great. But it's not perfect. You can't cure bruises with magic. You need a topical medication." Re guarantees Violin's words. It's true, magic is extraordinary, but it's not perfect. Sometimes for small things, magic cannot always be relied upon.
Violin stopped and then turned - smiled. "Oh, where is the infirmary?"

"Hahaha, this is just the beginning." The sound of laughter in the darkness echoed. A man sat leaning back on a chair while looking at the crystal ball in front of him, showing the events at the academy.
"I'm sorry, sir!" A man in a black robe suddenly appeared before him. He was the one who escaped from Violin's hands.
The man sitting in the chair raised a hand. That means no one can talk or listen to any explanation.
The black-robed man let out a big sweat on his forehead and slowly flowed across his cheek. Afraid that the leader of the black group was furious.
The leader rose from his chair, making the man who bowed under him swallow hard. The dim light of the torch slowly revealed part of his face that was half destroyed. His right eye is damaged.
The black-robed man looked down fearfully.
"You've done your job well, go!" he ordered.
"Yes sir."
"You let him go, Low? It's not like you," said a woman with a longhaired hair who had been there.
The man laughed, "I think you know the situation, Ran."
The woman nodded. Yes, they have very few members now. Can only be counted on the fingers. If the master of darkness was among them, with only one finger flick, they would have a terrible army. Forbidden magic, only the masters of darkness can subdue the high-ranking devils and ghosts.
"What about your job?" Low asked the woman. Before awakening the master, they must find the black book first.
"It's not easy to find it, but you're calm. I've ordered my slaves." The slave in question is the devil who is in alliance with him, bound by spells and covenants.
Low nodded as he waved his hand, sending the woman away. He wants to continue the work, creating new animals. Do you remember the animals on Ellenus Island? Right. That is Low's creation. The genius man who is able to create new magic.
"Huh, you always play with that disgusting rat!" Ran said leaving the room before Low stuffed his mouth with the rats.

Re was already sitting on the patient's bed, waiting for Violin to bring topical medication to his feet. Remedy from trees that only live in the forest of Ellenus, where Violin lives. By mixing magic spells, this medicine becomes perfect for all kinds of illnesses (physical externals).
"Here your feet!" Violin said as she opened the lid of the medicine, then rubbed it on Re's knee. The drug works, it sinks in, just seconds, the bruises are blurred. The pain also subsided.
"Thank you."
"It is my duty," Violin said, sounding ambiguous to Re.
